I'll make this simple. Good: -cute braids -neat -snack and water complimentary Bad: -Your price will change from what was agreed upon - hair health isn't priority - and the low tension claim is false (you might hear your hair snapping as they handle it and say goodbye to your edges) Overall, this place is an okay braiding spot especially if you get your prices written down and you only go every couple months.Posted on Google![]()

I am a new client, and I am 100% satisfied! I was searching for a new stylist, so I asked ChatGPT for recommendations. It gave me three salons, and after reading the reviews, I chose Diamond Luxury—and they did not disappoint! The salon was clean, welcoming, and conveniently located just 10 minutes from my house. I originally asked for Henrietta because of all the amazing reviews I had read. However, she referred me to her colleague, assuring me she was just as talented. I'll admit I was a little nervous at first since I had only heard about Henrietta, but I trusted her recommendation. From our conversation alone, I could tell she had great judgment and positive energy. Everything turned out wonderfully! My stylist was professional, friendly, and gave me exactly what I asked for. I couldn't be happier with the results. I give Diamond Luxury 10 stars! I can't wait to come back.Posted on Google![]()

I finally found an excellent stylist that can braid my daughter's hair without her crying, complaining about the pain. AND she still had her edges when I took them down 🙌🏽Posted on Google![]()

What Changes Your Final Price
The starting prices above cover a standard install. Four things move the number, and we tell you which apply before we begin — never after:
– Length: Waist-length and longer takes more hair and more hours than shoulder-length.
– Size: Small braids take considerably longer than jumbo. The smaller you go, the higher the price.
– Density: More hair to work with means more sections and more time.
– Hair is separate: Every starting price on this page covers the braiding only. The hair itself is not included — bring your own, or buy it at the salon and we bill it separately. How many packs you need depends on the style and the exact look you want, so send us a photo before you buy anything.
If you are unsure where your hair falls, call (346) 360-4881 and describe what you want — you will get a real number before you commit to a time slot.
Not Sure Which Style to Book?
Box braids and knotless braids hold their look longest between installs. Both benefit from a mid-point touch-up at the hairline rather than a full redo.
If Your Hair Needs a Break
Knotless braids and Senegalese twists put the least strain on the root and the hairline. If your edges are thinning, start here — and tell your braider before the first section goes in.
If You Have a Tight Schedule
Cornrows and crochet braids are the shortest appointments on this list. Between a 7 AM opening and an 8 PM close, seven days a week, either one fits around a workday without you taking time off.
Questions About Our Braiding Services
How much do braids cost at Diamond Luxury?
Starting prices at Diamond Luxury African Hair Braiding in Spring, TX range from $60 for weaving and loc styling to $200 for goddess braids and butterfly locs. Knotless braids start at $150 and box braids at $140. The final price depends on length, braid size, density and whether you supply your own hair, and it is confirmed with you before the appointment begins.
What's the difference between knotless braids and box braids?
Box braids are anchored with a knot at the root; knotless braids are fed in gradually with no knot. That single difference is why knotless braids sit flatter, feel lighter and put less tension on the hairline, while box braids hold a crisper part line and often look neat longer. Box braids start at $140 and knotless braids at $150.
How should I prepare for my braiding appointment?
Arrive with hair that is clean, detangled and completely dry — wash the day before rather than the same morning, and blow-dry if you can. Come having eaten, especially for a longer style, and let your braider know before you start if your scalp is sensitive or your edges need extra care.
How much do braids cost at Diamond Luxury?
Starting prices range from $90 for cornrows to $200 for goddess braids and butterfly locs. The final price depends on length, braid size and density, and it is confirmed with you before the appointment begins — the salon works on flat-rate pricing with no added fees at checkout.
