Call Us
(346) 360-4881
Calling is the fastest way to get a real answer. Most of what people email us about — what a style costs, how long it takes, whether we can do the look in a photo — is settled in two minutes on the phone.
If you already know what you want, have a photo ready when you call. We price every style from the photo, and we agree the figure with you before anything starts.
Where to Find Us
17907 Kuykendahl Rd, Suite 200
Spring, TX 77379
We are on Kuykendahl Road, the north–south route that runs through Spring between FM 1960 and the Grand Parkway. Highway 249 is to our west; I-45 is to our east. If you know either of those, you can find us.
Parking is free and on site, and Suite 200 is on the ground floor — no stairs between your car and your chair. It sounds like a small thing until you have spent six hours in a braiding appointment, or arrived with a child in tow.
Opening Hours
Monday to Sunday, 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Seven days a week, thirteen hours a day. That is deliberate.
Braiding appointments are long. A full install can take most of a day, and a salon that opens at 10:00 and closes at 6:00 forces you to take a day off work to have it done. Opening at 7:00 AM means a long style can start before your day begins and still be finished the same day. Closing at 8:00 PM means a shorter service — cornrows, a retwist, a crochet install — fits after work instead of instead of it.
Weekends included, at the same hours.
Coming from Spring or Klein
You are already here. We are minutes from most of Spring and Klein, which is the whole point of this salon being where it is — you should not have to drive into Houston to get your hair braided properly.
Coming from Tomball or The Woodlands
Highway 249 from Tomball, or south from The Woodlands — either way you are coming across to Kuykendahl rather than heading down into the city. Shorter than the run to Westheimer or Bissonnet, and that difference matters on a style that keeps you in the chair for hours.
Coming from Champions, Cypress or Humble
We sit between the 249 and I-45, which puts us within reach of all three without crossing into Houston proper.
Before You Call: Three Things to Have Ready
You will get a faster and more accurate answer if you have these to hand.
1. A photo of the style you want. The single most useful thing. Style names mean different things to different salons — “goddess braids”, “soft locs”, “boho braids” all get used loosely — and a photo removes every ambiguity in one step. It is also what we price from.
2. The length and size you are picturing. Length and braid or twist size move the price more than anything else. Knowing roughly what you want turns an estimate into a real number.
3. Whether you already have your hair. The price we quote covers the braiding. The hair itself is not included — you can bring your own, or buy it at the salon and we bill it separately. How many packs you need depends on the style and the exact look, so call before you shop and we will tell you what to buy.

Questions People Ask Before They Come In
Where exactly are you located?
Diamond Luxury African Hair Braiding is at 17907 Kuykendahl Rd, Suite 200, Spring, TX 77379. We are on Kuykendahl Road, which runs north to south through Spring between FM 1960 and the Grand Parkway, with Highway 249 to the west and I-45 to the east. Parking is free and on site, and Suite 200 is on the ground floor, so there are no stairs to manage. We serve Spring, Klein, Tomball, The Woodlands, Champions, Cypress and Humble.
Is there parking at the salon?
Yes — free parking on site. Suite 200 is on the ground floor, so you walk in from the parking area with no stairs. For a service that can keep you in the chair for several hours, arriving and leaving without hunting for a space is part of why clients north of the Beltway book here rather than driving into Houston.
What are your opening hours?
We are open seven days a week, Monday through Sunday, from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Braiding appointments are long, so the early opening lets a full install start before your workday and finish the same day, and the late close lets a shorter service fit in after work. Weekend hours are the same as weekday hours.
How do I find out what a style will cost?
Send or bring a photo of the style you want and call (346) 360-4881. We price from the photo, because style names are used loosely and a picture tells us the length, the size and the density we are actually looking at. The figure is agreed with you before anything starts, and it does not move afterwards. Note that the price covers the braiding — the hair is billed separately, whether you bring your own or buy it at the salon.
Do I need to bring my own hair?
You can do either. Bring your own, or buy it at the salon — either way it is billed separately from the style, because our prices cover the braiding and do not include the hair. How many packs you need depends on the style and the exact look you want, so there is no single number that applies to everyone. Call (346) 360-4881 before you buy anything and we will tell you how much to get.
What should I do to my hair before my appointment?
Come with hair that is clean, detangled and completely dry. Washing the day before rather than the same morning is ideal, and blow-drying helps if you can. Eat beforehand if you are booked for a longer style. If your scalp is sensitive or your edges need extra care, say so before your braider starts rather than during. ---
