I told her of my previous negative experiences with other braiders, who left my hair falling out and the braids incredibly tight. However, she has changed everything. It’s been over a month since I got my braids, and they still look absolutely wonderful. I haven’t lost any hair either, and even when she braided my hair, I felt nothing. I actually fell asleep, and she remained professional and completed my style. She understood that I needed my hair braided for a special occasion on short notice, and she exceeded my expectations. I’ve never left a salon completely satisfied with my hair until I got my braids here. Thank you for your wonderful service and hospitality. Well, how do I start with this review first off at first it was very good conversation was good and everything then it came to a point where another lady walked in and she Had a couple problems with her hair. I got there at 10 AM and was expecting to be done around three since I had something important to go to and my son to pick up fast forward to the lady complaining and my braider decides to walk over to her hair and she asked me can she do that? And I said yes I’m just watching the time cause I have to go pick up my child and then she replies OK the lady complains again and she walks over and starts braiding her hair. Remind you they’re dealing with the lady for about 45 minutes now and I’m just sitting here with half of my head done. I got super frustrated and had to step out because I was going to be late for my crap out ceremony, so I called the owner and she totally flipped it on me and said I was just trying to get free hairstyle with an actuality. I was asking to maybe come back later or that morning but I understand sometimes people say they will be back and don’t come back so I understood her response but did not like how she spoke with me. I came back. She apologized and I paid my 280 which I felt like after everything I went through it should’ve been lower, but I got money so that wasn’t an issue for Me. moral of the story they need to work on communication and first come first serve no braider should ever ask me as a customer with a lot of things going on if she can go do someone else’s hair while I’ve been waiting for four hoursPosted onTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Never got a chance to post my review but Harriet and the ladies in her shop are super sweet and did a great job on my hair. They also helped me choose the right hair and went with me to the beauty shop to grab hair. She was able to have both walk in and get braided and their braids are so beautiful! So this was actually around August right before starting school. As a single mother, I like to prepare myself on how much things cost before just scheduling. My daughter had wanted some very short bob style boho braids, which is not an option listed on the booking site. So I called to ask what the cost would be to be prepared. I spoke with the owner who told me if she has her own hair for just the braids it would be $130. So I quickly booked because I felt that was very reasonable especially due to the length. So come the day of the appt, she finished my daughter’s hair and it was time to pay. This lady quoted me $225. Now mind you, my niece had also got her hair done that day and she got mid back length braids with the hair included and paid around $260 and this lady was trying to tell me that with shorter braids and me providing the hair this was the price. When I mentioned to her that I had called and spoke with her on the phone and she quoted me $130 she flipped. Very rudely told me how I was lying and she’d never charge less than $200 on her hair. So I asked if there was a chance I spoke with someone else who may have confused things and she said no. When I tell you I’ve never experienced such rude behavior. And apparently she was sooo busy (which I understand because it was back to school) that she had actually had my daughter confused with a different little girl and decided to bring the price down to $180 when she realized her mess up. But still was very rude and not once offered an apology for her terrible behavior and service. Long story short confirm your price before starting your hair! I usually do this but she seemed so sweet when I first met her and she was already late so it slipped my mind. I was also on my way to work which I was also late to due to her being late. Oh yea, SHE WAS LATE!! We were her first appointment and we waited at least 20 minutes for her to be there which made me late for work. Definitely work on customer service skills!!
